Huang Shao-Ning started her first business, JobsCentral, as a fresh graduate in 2000 and grew it until it was sold to CareerBuilder in 2011, where she had served as Managing Director and Group Deputy CEO. In her own words she 'set up Angel Central in 2018', and she is Partner and Chief Angel of AngelCentral, a Singapore-based angel network and education platform. AngelCentral's own site states that she and Lim Der Shing have investments in over 40 startups and 8 VC investments. She was quoted in her AngelCentral capacity as recently as October 2025 commenting on Southeast Asian angel funding conditions.
