Full-time angel investor
Francis Santora is a US angel investor based in Hoboken, New Jersey, who describes himself as a "NYC area angel" and a "solo angel". He began his career at Epic, a medical software company, straight out of college, and started angel investing around 2021 after reading Jason Calacanis's book "Angel". In a June 2024 interview he stated "I do it full-time now just with my own capital", and his investor profile lists a $10k-$45k cheque size and 41 investments to date. He states he invests in SaaS, productivity, subscription and collaboration software in the US and comparable markets including the UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Named investments include Edge, whose seed round he joined in mid-2021, and the London fintech Caribou (formerly Rebank).
